New Century Production released on Thursday, March 2nd the second teaser for its upcoming comedy film SUGER DADDY — which is scheduled to be released in theatres on Eid Al-Fitr — revealing more details on Bayoumi Fouad’s affair and the lengths he’s gone to in order to cheat on his wife Laila Elwi.
The trailer presented snapshots of Fouad's desire to take on a second wife after meeting the dancer Johara.
After Fouad informs his sons, Hamdi El-Mirghani and Mostafa Gharieb, that he will be marrying someone else, comical events begin to ensue as the sons try to thwart their father’s plan and convince their mother, Laila Elwi — who is in denial — that she is being cheated on.
The film is the second collaboration between Fouad, Elwi, and El-Mirghani following their breakthrough in Egypt and the Arab world with MUM IS PREGNANT (2021).
The film also stars Tamer Hagras, Mohamed Mahmoud, Mostafa Gharieb, May Elghety, Johara, and Farah El-Zahed.
SUGER DADDY was directed by Mahmoud Karim, written by Loai El-Sayed, and produced by New Century Production. Dollar Film is in charge of distribution in Egypt while Orient Company is handling worldwide sales.
The film is co-produced by Misr International Films, Synergy, Magic Bean Production, and Square Production.
