Director Marwan Hamed's Film Diamond Dust Wins Three Awards at the Casablanca Arab Film Festival in Morocco

Landing its world premiere at the 1st Casablanca Arab Film Festival in Morocco, Diamond Dust won three awards; the Grand Prize, Best Director to director Marwan Hamed, and Best Actor to Maged El Kedwany.
Last Thursday, the film witnessed a full-house screening with the attendance of its lead Asser Yassin.
In August, New Century Production has commercially released Diamond Dust in cinemas during Eid Al Adha holiday this year. The film grossed about EGP 32 million, including 9 million EGP as total revenues in its first week.
Diamond Dust follows Taha, a pharmacist who leads a boring life with his chair bound father. When a mysterious murder occurs, Taha's entire world collapses permanently.
During October 2018, the film screened at the Khartoum Arab Film Festival in Sudan.
Diamond Dust is the third collaboration between director Marwan Hamed and writer Ahmed Mourad. The film stars Asser Yassin, Menna Shalaby, Maged El Kedwany, Shereen Reda, Eyad Nassar, Mohamed Mamdouh, Sabreen, Ahmad Kamal, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Tara Emad, Samy Maghawry, Bayoumi Fouad and Lebanese actor Adel Karam, along with eminent actor Ezzat El Alaili. Diamond Dust is produced by New Century Production and distributed by Dollar Film, while MAD Solutions is handling the film's marketing services.
