OUT OF THE ORDINARY WINS AUDIENCE AWARD AT THE INTERNATIONAL ARAB FILM FESTIVAL IN GABES

Out of the Ordinary by Daoud Abdel Sayed won the Audience Award at the 2nd International Arab Film Festival in Gabès, Tunisia. The Festival witnessed the participation of films from 18 Arab and foreign countries, including Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Italy, France and the Republic of Congo.
With 53 films participating in its 2nd edition, the Festival's screening program encompassed two competitions; the Feature Films Competition, where twelve films competed, and the Short Films Competition, where ten films competed, along with several panel discussions and workshops.
Held from September 24-30, the festival was attended by a remarkable number of artists from Tunisia and the Arab world. Tunisian actress Hend Sabry was selected as the Honorary President of the festival, along with jury members, Syrian actress Kinda Alloush and Tunisian actor Dhaffer L’Abidine.
