The people of a village in Luxor decide to buy a new barge instead of the old one for river transport. The mayor Mugahid tells his son to buy one with Muhasib who is experienced on the subject. A ruthless business rival is determined destroy their plans, so he sends his men to steal their money and hires a diabolical woman to seduce Mugahid and Muhasib. However, his plans fail and the two men manage to return to the village with the new barge.
